Meltdown stands for uncompromising thrash / heavy metal with a clear message: with political lyrics that make you think, the band from Bremen combines powerful riffs, profound melodies and raw energy – founded in 2024, somewhere between the technical edge of Megadeth and the energy of Judas Priest.

The lyrics are political and personal – against racism, discrimination and war. Around 17 shows a year, and the ambition is clear: with our music we want to reach the whole world.

The four musicians bring in different influences: Elisey shapes the vocals as much as the guitar work, while Antonin sets accents with his lead playing. Luiz's bass work and Anton's drumming form the foundation – together they create a sound that is direct, raw and thought-through.

    Winning the 31st Bremer Schulrockfestival

    Kesselhalle im Schlachthof, about 400 people in the crowd: MELTDOWN win the Bremer Schuloffensive award for the best live performance – and with it a recording day at Studio Hire (Ottersberg) plus a video production.

  3. Summer 2025

    Breminale

    Playing the "Schleuse" stage at Breminale, Bremen's biggest open-air festival – one of around 12 shows in 2025.

  4. Sep 26, 2025

    Debut single Los Siervos

    The first single: about power, the will of others and the illusion of freedom.

  5. 2026

    End of Beginning & First Mourning

    Two new singles, recorded in January 2026. Plus a headline show at Meisenfrei Bremen (Apr 28, 2026) and a slot at the Hammer Park Festival in Hamburg (Aug 28, 2026).

    SPH Music Masters

    MELTDOWN enter the preliminary round of one of the biggest band contests in the German-speaking world – Sep 11, 2026 at Bambi Galore, Hamburg.
