Meltdown on the cover of OXMOX magazine!

Meltdown, winner of the 40th OXMOX Band Contest, has been printed on the cover of OXMOX, Hamburg's city magazine. The October 2026 issue puts us on the front page with the line “Sieger 40. Hamburg Bandcontest – Meltdown” (winner of the 40th Hamburg Band Contest). For a band from Bremen it is a special moment: from the contest in Hamburg to the cover of the city magazine. Thanks to everyone who supported us at the contest. Where you can see us live next is on our shows page – on October 23 we play Zollkantine in Bremen.

We're recording our debut album!

In September 2026 we're heading into the studio: the first MELTDOWN album is in the works. With our music we want to reach the whole world – and this is where we lay the foundation. Behind us are two years of stages – from the Kesselhalle at Bremen's Schlachthof to Breminale and the Hammer Park Festival in Hamburg. Now the songs from that time get the recordings they deserve. You'll hear how the studio work goes here first. And you can still catch us live: September 26 at the Burnout Festival in Nienburg and October 23 at Zollkantine in Bremen. Stay tuned!

Hammer Park Festival: thank you, Hamburg!

On August 28 we played the open-air stage of the Hammer Park Festival in Hamburg. Thanks to everyone who went off with us in the park – we'll be back. The summer stage in the middle of Hammer Park is open to everyone, no fences – and still there was a wall of people in front of the stage that stayed until the last song. Thanks to the Knust team for the night and to Hamburg for the welcome. If you missed us: on September 26 we play the Burnout Festival in Nienburg – free entry, just like the park.

Our new single First Mourning is out everywhere now: 6:31 minutes about pain and betrayal – the darkest side of MELTDOWN so far. Listen on Spotify and YouTube. First Mourning is not a song for the background: six and a half minutes that take their time, tighten slowly and leave nothing standing at the end.
